Choosing the right DSLR Camera

You as a beginner might be confused when going to pick and choose a digital camera because the development of today's digital cameras are so awesome, especially the development of D-SLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex). Since the DCS 100 camera introduced in 1991, D-SLR camera is enhanced by the camera manufacturer. For D-SLR camera category, the principle of "money" not ever lie "is true. The more expensive the camera, the better is the camera, but do not you be afraid to choose a new camera because of a camera with a friendly price is also great.

What should you do? Here are a few things to note for the beginner photographer before deciding to buy a D-SLR camera.
1. Sensor
Note the CCD or CMOS sensors used in kemera. There are several variants of this digital camera sensor, that is Full Frame (36 x 24mm), APS-H (28.7 x 19mm), APS-C (22.2 x 14.8 mm), and Four-thirds (17, 3 x 13mm). This size difference is confusing for beginners, but in short, if we use a full frame sensor (the ratio of image 3:2), then the image in the viewfinder will look full. If printed on photo paper size 4 R (15 x 10 cm), then there is no cropping of the mold because it matches the size of the LCD (15: 10 = 3: 2). But if we use APS-C sensor, there is a crop factor obtained from the division as follows, full frame sensor width: the width of the sensor is APS-C, (36: 22.2 = 1.6) then the sensor is APS-C crop factor there is a , 6 meaning that the image is not seen intact as on fullframe sensor.

Cameras with APS-C sensor, more suitable for telephoto, because if we use the lens 70 - 300mm, that means we use a lens 112 - 480mm.

2. D-SLR cameras require special care
D-SLR camera, has the ability interchangable lens (the lens can be redeemed for free). The risk of opening the lens D-SLR camera body, allowing dust into the camera, while the D-SLR cameras are very sensitive at all to dust. Dust will stick to the camera sensor, and the results of the photo will look, especially when using a small aperture (diaphragm). To clean the dust, can use special dust blower available at camera stores. Although the latest D-SLR camera has been equipped with automatic dust cleaning system, but still required manually.

3. D-SLR camera has a shutter a certain age (shutter count)
If we use an analog SLR cameras, each taking the picture, we are limited by the number of frames that exist on the rolls of film negatives that we use. On D-SLR camera, it was abolished. We can take pictures at a time up to hundreds or even thousands of photos, as long as have enough data storage memory. However, the D-SLR cameras are known as the shutter count, which records the number of shots made by the camera's shutter. Each D-SLR camera, has a shutter count or estimate of "lifetime" shutter. In factory testing, D-SLR camera capable of reaching the middle class 50ribu shots. While the D-SLR camera can achieve above upscale 100ribu shots without a problem. Thus, the D-SLR cameras are suitable for beginners in the study, provided that when learned, we still have the concept of photographing, to think before shooting, so do not waste shutter age.

4. D-SLR Camera resolution (megapixels)
Digital cameras give us the option to determine how much resolution we need. Currently, the resolution capability of D-SLR cameras has reached more than 18 mp. The larger the resolution of the camera, the greater the memory required to store images while shooting. Basically, the resolution on the size of 10 mp camera, for example, reaches a maximum resolution of 3872 x 2592. But for the needs of ordinary photography, the resolution of it will take a great memory, therefore, the D-SLR cameras are always equipped with a choice of max-resolution and low resolution, so that we can choose as needed.

Many professional photographers still use 6 mp resolution, because it is still considered sufficient to make good photos. Selection of resolution for cropping images usually later. In addition, the resolution is not everything. In digital cameras, the determination of resolution is not necessarily related to the sharpness of the image. On D-SLR camera, the sharpness of the picture is more determined by the class of lens used.

There is truth to say that it is better to buy a camera that is not too fancy, but you are saving money to buy a nice variety of lenses in the future, so you can beat your friend's picture who prefer the luxury and high price.
